Natural History Museum Case Study
Water Leak Detection
The Background
In 2024, S&S Northern Ltd supplied advanced water leak detection systems to the Natural History Museum in London to protect three valuable pre-historic exhibits. These exhibits, which are highly sensitive to environmental conditions, were safeguarded by installing our water leak detection systems within the drip trays of the air conditioning units serving the display areas.
The systems were installed by Direct Control Systems Ltd and are designed to continuously monitor for any signs of water leakage, providing immediate alerts to prevent potential damage to these priceless artifacts. By detecting leaks early, the system ensures that the museum can respond quickly, minimizing any risk to the exhibits.
